Below is a list of networking and community events that the Elmwood Business Association is aware of. If you are hosting a business to business networking event or a community event and would like to be included on our website, please email us at [email protected]  with the particulars of your event. If you would like us to link to your website for RSVP information, please send us the link. 



Meetings generally held second or third Tuesday of the month.

Our alternating venues are as follows:

          TIME:   11:30 am to 1:00 pm
          LOCATION: Augie's Restaurant 6005 Jefferson Hwy, Elmwood, LA
          COST: $25 pre-registered members; $30 pay at door or  future members 

          TIME:   11:30 am to 1:00 pm
          LOCATION: The Rose Garden, 5616 Citrus Blvd., Elmwood, LA
          COST: $30 pre-registered members; $35 pay at door or  future members

JEDCO, Jefferson Chamber announce 2019 seminar series lineup


(AVONDALE, La) -- The Jefferson Parish Economic Development Commission (JEDCO) and the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce are pleased to announce the 2019 Prosper Jefferson event lineup.


JEDCO and the Chamber will host 11 Prosper Jefferson seminars in 2019, featuring experts from around the Greater New Orleans region. Each event will highlight an informational topic to assist our local businesses in achieving growth and success.

JEDCO and the Jefferson Chamber created the monthly seminar series in 2015 to educate, inspire and assist small business owners in Jefferson Parish. It has become a popular, highly-attended event series.

All seminars will be held from 8:30 am to 10:30 am at either the JEDCO Conference Center on the West Bank or Entergy on the East Bank. The event is $5 to attend and will cover the cost of a hot breakfast for guests.
